

The Omaha Symphony will perform Academy Award
winner Howard Shore’s masterpiece score
from the epic “Lord of the Rings” trilogy
Friday and Saturday night at 8 p.m., at the
Orpheum Theater. Tickets are $45.
Gollum, Frodo and the gang must still appeal
to audiences because “The Lord of the
Rings” symphony has been presented in
front of theaters full of “Rings” fans
worldwide since its debut in New Zealand on
Nov. 29, 2003.
