Creighton's NCAA journey

The Creighton men’s basketball team was not able to hold on against the West Virginia in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on March 17 after a breakaway dunk by Tyron Sally with 2.4 seconds remaining secured a 63-61 win for the Mountaineers.

Napoleon Dynamite will bring his nun chuck skills, his bow hunting skills and his computer hacking skills when he speaks at Creighton next Tuesday.

The March 22 event is sponsored by Creighton Student Union Program Board and features the star of the film, Jon Heder. The presentation will be held in the Skutt Student Center Ballroom. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Students should take note that space is limited.

Sophomore Pierce Hibma has gone from the watcher to the watched.

Three short years after having to sneak to the school cafeteria just to catch a glimpse of Creighton in the NCAA Tournament, Hibma is now playing for the Jays during March Madness.
