Aid Faces Overhaul

More hours at work or more loans. Either way, next
fall lower-income Creighton students might have to
bear the brunt of nationwide financial aid decreases.
A
slight alteration was made in the federal formula
governing financial aid that is expected to reduce
government contributions to higher education beginning
fall of 2004.

With
only standing room left, students, faculty and
staff squeezed into St. John’s to celebrate
the 125th Mass of the Holy Spirit in Creighton
history. More people were able to attend because
10:30 and 11:30 a.m. classes were cancelled. After
mass, ice cream was served in the Fitness Center.
