Parking woes will be stalled
for about 50 drivers a day beginning Saturday,
when Burt Street opens to two-way traffic
from approximately 15th Street to 30th Street.
People should use extra
caution driving during the transition, said
Lennis Pederson, associate vice president
for Administration and director of Facilities
Management. He said the city of Omaha probably
will mark parallel parking along the north
side of Burt Street within the next week.
